The eye, according to Rossi had a double meaning: the first was "look out because Mugello can hurt you", referring to the accident that changed his luck in the last MotoGP season, while the second meaning is "watch out because sooner or later things will turn around."
The AGV GP Tech Helmet is constructed from SSL (Super-Super-Light) Carbon-Kevlar construction, and is the very same helmet worn and developed by multiple Moto GP world champion Valentino Rossi. The shell itself is available in three sizes, with the ventilation system moulded directly in the shell, with vents on the chinbar and forehead as well as exhaust vents on the back. As well as being lightweight, the GP Tech has a fully removable and washable Cool Max lining (including the neck roll) with different sized cheek pads available for a custom fit. A wider aperture than the Titech is replaces, as well as a revised visor mechanism makes changing the visor even quicker then before. The visors are flat, anti scratch and anti fog race visors with tear off system. Double D-Ring fasteners ensure correct strap tension.
